They will ship the watch within 24hrs unless I indicate that I think there is a problem with the watch. Beyond the basics, I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Could you please give me your opinions? Is there anything that anyone sees that might be of some concern? I hope that I have attached the images correctly. Thanks!!! P.S. It is a controversial point mate (and I can't technically correct it now). On RWG.bz you risk the ban if posting QC pic. Here it is tolerated by I've seen TDs are annoyed by this practice. And now for something unrelated... 2) The timegrapher results that I received for this watch seem excellent, with the possible exception of "Rate" info. Is it o.k. for a so-called "super rep" to have a daily rate deviation of +007 s/d ? In reading some posts from this forum, it seems that most are of the opinion that a seven second daily deviation is merely "acceptable", but certainly not "very good". While it happens that noobs go by instinct, and sometime they choose some not-that-good piece. Then, when they got the QC pics, they come here and get a lot of messages showing them all the misalignment between that piece and the gen. They get [censored] of and start hassling the TD for what have been their own bad choice since the beginning. 2) 7 sec isn't bad at all. And once serviced and properly regulated it will run COSC. If I purchase a watch based on the web site photos, I expect to get a piece that at least measures up to those. I see no problem posting the QC photos to make sure we are getting what we pay for. After all, we're talking about watches that can cost $300 or more and not some $25 sidewalk watch from Times Square..... It may cause some additional headaches with the TD's but if they are careful in selecting the pieces they sell us, they shouldn't have much to worry about. If they try to pass off junk, they should be challenged on it. I think that most reasonable and intelligent individuals would assume that someone seeking opinions about a specific $338 watch is NOT asking for the differences between the gen and rep to be highlighted. It would be far more reasonable to assume that an individual seeking such criticism and opinion is seeking a comparison between what has been advertised (in description and photos) and the actual product (watch) that will be shipped. As stated above, I am pleased with Puretime, find them to be professional and, morevover, would recommend them. These are, however, my feelings before having received the watch I have ordered; they are initial and provisional sentiments. Accordingly, though I fully anticipate that I will be completely satisfied and content upon receiving my watch, this may not be the case. As consumers, we demonstrate good faith, and believe/hope that dealers are entirely scrupulous and reciprocate this good faith. Consider, however, the following hypothetical scenario: QC photos could conceivably depict the best technically reproduced specific watch (possessed by the dealer) that has been ordered by a customer and NOT the actual watch that will be shipped. One of the many advantages to posting QC photos would be that perhaps one or more of the very knowledgeable and discerning members of the forum might recognize a particular, identifying feature of the watch in the photos that would lead them to a conclusion that would prove invaluable to the consumer making the initial inquiry and soliciting the assistance of this forum. I am not casting any aspersions; I am also not naive. A quick perusal of this forum yields the uncomfortable understanding that on occasion - however rare - dealers who were once designated "trusted" have lost this designation and have unfortunately proven otherwise...at the expense of credent forum members.
