bruce79 Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 just like to know what our members prefer on their pams. I myself have mostly owned 24/24 but for some reason have taken a liking to 24/22. Please share.
Watchmeister Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 24/24 with Pre-V buckle is my favorite to look at. But from a comfort perspective I prefer the 24/22. Needless to say, I have a fabulous collection of Pre-V's.
Everythingape Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 I like how massive the 24/24 pre-V looks.. Speaking of which, where can I get me a couple of cheap pre-v buckles?
V Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 24/24 of course.. and 4-5mm thickness... The perfect strap size for the Pams
dadog13 Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 24/24 of course.. and 4-5mm thickness... The perfect strap size for the Pams agree...and with nice pre-v buckle!
Pugwash Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 24/24 of course.. and 4-5mm thickness... I agree.
Watchmeister Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Biggest downside to Pre-V's on the automatics is you have to swap the strap every time you want to put it back on the watchwinder. Enhances liklihood of stripping screws/case and scratching the case for those with two thumbs like myself. Still love them though.
doopey Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 24/24 of course.. and 4-5mm thickness... The perfect strap size for the Pams Yup me to.
ravishingrick Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Dirk/OEM 24/24 with PAM Logo buckle
V Posted December 12, 2006 Report Posted December 12, 2006 Dirk/OEM 24/24 with PAM Logo buckle I can take it a bit further and say: Whatever 24/24 with Logo buckle... I have some quite more interesting leathers/straps in this combination than Dirks and OEMs
bruce79 Posted December 12, 2006 Author Report Posted December 12, 2006 wow, ok. so not many of you prefer the 24/22. I've really only owned one 24/22 and I must say it was super comfortable...my 24/24s have all been great too though. I just like the tapered look of the 24/22 I guess. I think it looks a touch more dressy. Where as the 24/24 seems a bit more sporty. I like how massive the 24/24 pre-V looks.. Speaking of which, where can I get me a couple of cheap pre-v buckles? try don
