BradBMW
Hello all, I found an old watch I'm interested in, but the seller doesn't know what movement is in the watch. Can any of you experts chime in? Thanks, Brad
SSTEEL
Looks like a Landeron of sorts, what complications does it have? Two sub-dials, 9/3?
BradBMW
3 register chrono. Thanks, Brad
alligoat
It's a Valjoux 72! Early model- Leonidas so it may not fit in a Daytona case- i've got a couple of Heuers that are late 50s early 60s and they won't fit! You should measure the case- if it's 38mm the plates on the movement may be too big
BradBMW
I see a 34 on the movement. Is that possibly 34mm?
alligoat
I doubt it. The V72 was 13 ligne typically which is around 29mm. Can the seller measure the case on the outside for you? A lot of the V72 watches did have small cases- 34-36 mm.
