Hi,

I purchased a Pam 564 8 Days from TrustyTime and the dress plates are loose. I have been told "please don't worry" but the watch rattles very loudly. It was suggested the movement screws were loose or missing, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

I might want to sell this watch, not sure yet.

Finding a local watchsmith has proven difficult in this part of the world, so I am curious if some Super Glue gel, one drop into one or of the dress plate holes would be ok.

Obviously, I would prefer a watchsmith to do the repair.

I wouldn't use glue...just overall a bad idea...just from looking at the video I'm guessing it's a easy fix. Might be the situation where the caseback holds it on? If the caseback is tight does it still move? That's not what you want but looks like the movement is too thick for a case clamp and screw? Still should be sitting flat and not moving back and forth? Just seems like the kind of thing if the right person had it in hand, would be an easy fix..but that's just my gut...

I was able to take apart the dress plate and secure the screws. Sorry I had forgotten about this thread.
