Ems Tracking Sucks

Hi!

I ordered my first rep from trustytime on december 1st. Okay, 12 days is not very long time for shipping to germany and sure it will arrive the next days, but what makes me a bit worried is that tracking info on EMS site shows the same status since 7 days (2006-12-06 despatch from sorting centre). Is this normal? what are your experiences?

Ignore EMS tracking #'s. They never work. By the time the Chinese put your # in the system, you'll have already gotten it.

I did not think there could be any a courier service worst than our US Postal Service. EMS is in a league all by themselves. Orderd two rep's three days apart and my second order has caught up to my first order.

No upate for the first order in four days. What gives?

Yes of course it sucks. All of us thought the first time EMS tracking was the HOly grial to follow your time piece along the world....well nobosy´s perfect sometimes you get it sometimes you don´t but usually the parcel goes on properly.

5-7 days usually, but don't forget to factor in xmas.

Instead of tracking on the EMS site, if you're shipping into the US, try putting your EMS tracking number into the USPS site. Once it hits customs, you should get pretty decent tracking info from there.

My last package came from China->SFO->LAS in 5 days.

I don't know whether to expect better service or worse given that it's Christmas time. I would think that customs might be a little relaxed this time of year, but who knows?

It worked. My packages exited Canton 12-14 & 12-15. Now I at the mercy of US customs and the USPS.

My first order and then that: got a letter today from omega lawyers, my watch is held at customs and I shall sign something that this beautiful piece can be destroyed

should I sign this, or ignore it, or what now???
