alt.watch.obsessive
Hi all, I recently acquired a genuine tritium dial to build a 14270 with lug holes using a genuine 16200 case. I have both the original smooth bezel and sapphire crystal (from which I removed the cyclops) and a JMB bezel with Rolex plexy. Questions: 1. Every picture I find has a plexy crystal. Do I have any option here, or will all lug hole 14270 models be plexy? I have seen these listed as everything from N to X series (which seems a bit broad). 2. Are we in agreement that the lug holes will be standard Datejust size? Thanks!
tomhorn
The gen 14270 has a saphire crystal, not plexi. The gen crystal is a 25-295. I don't believe the lug holes are drilled out like they are for the 1016.
