Comparison Ap Black Themes 2014 Noob and JF leather strap

I orderd 2 AP Black Themes 2014,1 from Noob and 1 from JF ,so I compmare the leather straps from both suppliers!

 

We all know the straps are crap PU but there is a difference in both of them !!

The one from the Noob is much more glossy then the JF one and find the JF more accurate !!

 

This is my opinion on this matter but the case and dial seems to be the same ...

Also the date nrs are not the same ..ex. the nr 1 of the date of the Noob model is not as it should be ,JF is correct

Jf date surface is lowered but datefont on number 1-9 still smaller than it should be and the sec hand at 12hrs has white color where noob is correct.

Are any of the dealers selling the "2014" straps and buckles separately? Also what is the buckle width? I really prefer the buckle over the deployant clasp.

JF strap does look a bit more like real leather from the pics.

Can you compare the cases too (to Gen)?

It looks like the NOOB is slightly chunkier/boxier than the JF.

Hello all and OP

Do you know if these straps are interchangeable? I.e. Would the noob one fit onto the JF and vice versa?

Reason I ask is because I'd like to put a an AP rubber diver strap on a JF watch...if it's a noob strap it might not fit.

If the TD can't confirm its a JF strap should I cancel?

From my experience, I've tried to fit in noob rubberclad rubber strap into 2014 roo jf and the result is ok, no adjustment needed for the screws. But this is not guaranteed because it may have some differences

Wonder if the Noob and JF factories actually make the staps too? Possible they are supplied by another factory/s.
