436NR
I decided to visit the Panerai Boutique on Madison Ave in NYC the other day and all I can say is WOW! I never actually held a real PAM in my hand. Beautiful! I looked at the new Ceramic pieces that they had. The display case backs looked like they had AR on the crystal, and the movements were gorgeous! Something for me to save for down the road. Lacuadra
Reps are just a gateway to the real thing. I am sure they realize that. They probably laugh and say to themselves: "Future customer! Maybe not this year, or next....but eventually they will come back.". docthor
Well...I doubt that...the reps are getting better and better and the prices for the gens are getting higher and higher hence the urge to get a gen is getting lower and lower...at least for me

Given the general accuracy of reps these days, especially when it comes to many of the PAM models, I cannot ever foresee forking over thousands for another gen.
