martijnp
Push the springbar out of the clasp and fit the strap, place the springbar back and it's fixed
Pfm67
thanks. I guess I have to invest in a spring bar tool?
martijnp
I didn't use a springbar tool, I used a little pin which fits this:

martijnp
If you don't have a proper tool, you might try this (I have no idea how you call this in English...) Edited January 14, 2015 by martijnp
Pfm67
it is actually a spring bar or a pin. when I push one side, the other side pops out slightly
martijnp
It isn't really a pin but it also isn't a springbar I managed to push it from one side and pull it up to get it out of the clasp..

agentoso74
Does it happen to the gen deployment too?
POTR
Deployant, not deployment. Bamboo Skewers are your friend, so is lubrication. You don't want to spot your leather, so what do you think you should use? Perhaps some oil intended for the preservation of leather? Rubber? Are you sure you don't mean silicone? Any lube that doesn't eat rubber, and almost all are safe on silicone. Edited January 15, 2015 by POTR

Pfm67
I want to thank everyone for their help. Unfortunately, I couldn't remove the pin. I went to a local jeweler who took care of it.
