om3ga_guy
Hey guys, picked up this Hublot v6.5 with upgraded Mikey Ti screws set from a good member on the RG forum. My brief observations: Flawless colourless xtal and a well worn gummy. Nice and smooth. Really makes me think twice about swapping it to a Donerix strap. And gen for comparison Checklist: -Colourless AR - chek -Ti screws - chek -4 tick subdial @ 6 o'clock - chek -Smooth outter bezel rim - chek -Movement engravings - chek -Recessed date disc - chek And two details I was surprised to see are: 1. Brushed hands and hour indexes - chek Rep... 2. Textured subdial! - chek Rep... Gen...for comparison... Legend
Beautiful watch, congrats! One thing I learnt recently from my friend Martijn (@Martijn), is that some of the genuine Big Bang DO have 4 subdivision markers on the 6o'clock subdial instead of 3. I have always thought that the 4 markers on the rep subdial@6 is a tell, but I was wrong. I have since also seen 2-3 genuine big bangs with 4 subdivision markers on that subdial. I guess we all learn something new everyday.

Legend
Your absolutely right. The 4 tick subdial is accurate. Predominantly on the steel bezel model. Some more examples... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thank you kindly. To be honest, I like the look of the subdial with 4 markers instead of 3. I have seen this subdial type on a genuine carbon fiber dial (ceramic casing) too. For a long time, the guys on the forums, including me, always used this as a tell that a Big Bang is rep. I was really glad when I learnt that it is not the case. However, I still do not know which Big Bangs have the 3 or 4 subdial markers.. It could be from a batch, or specific to some models. The number of similar Big Bang models produced by Hublot makes it difficult to track this. I am no Hublot expert though. Perhaps someone with more knowledge from me would care to chime in.
