Hi Group - 

 

Has anybody purchased a Transocean recently? Tried on a gen today, and fell in love with it, was wondering if anybody had recent success with this watch, or had one to show off.

I have this model that I won in the raffle - it's a quartz so no sunken datewheel nonsense, and the sweep isn't that bad on the chrono... I LOVE IT. Great watch, fit and finish. 1:1 accurate from what I've seen

The Transocean is a fantastic watch and it's my favourite Breitling. I've also got the Quartz version and I'm very happy with it. It was my first rep (after I joined RWG so it's got a specieal meaning for me).

Martin...she's a beauty! Has anybody seen a strong rep of the blue dial? I checked out a few sites, and didn't see blue in martins model...I have heard great feedback on the Quartz model...is it really because of the date wheel height, and given no display on back of case, no need to have the a7750 with extra costs?

The Quartz version is fine. The caseback is closed on the quartz version, the gen got a open caseback so that is a tell. Also the DW colour should be black instead of white.

 

It doesnt bother me so i'm happy with it

I'd love a 38mm Trans with blue dial. They don't seem to do them though.
