Breitling Superocean abyss 42mm-Black or White?

Recommended Posts

Guys. I just picked these up on m2m

The all black has a Swiss heart. Black with white accent has Asian heart

Since I have a lot of trouble making decisions, I'll ask all of you which one do you like better?

I will be sending it off to vac for relume and putting a gen pro 2 bracelet on the keeper (if white is keeper a Swiss movement installed as well)

Thanks for your comments and opinons.

Love these, just picked one up myself on the other board in yellow  :inverted:  depends entirely on your collection but for me I have plenty black dials in there already so would be white and swiss  :) I fancied a gen bracelet for it but something else caught my eye and that was the Gen black and Yellow leather strap........stunning and ordered today too  ;)  missus may be slapping me this week!

I'd go with the black. I used to think that I liked divers in colors other than black, but I kept flipping them in favor of black divers. Now that my collection is mostly black divers it is a lot more stable.

But apparently I am not one for change... :bangin:

I have both.

The White makes the dial seem smaller and less well balanced.

Whist is nice to have a change from a 'boring' all black, my white only comes out occasionally. In fact my black is on a Pro II bracelet and is one of my most worn watches.

Hard call, both look class. White is more of an eye-catcher, sportier, perhaps more attractive, though I'd go black as my current mood is to keep things toned down.

Now I'm leaning toward the black. All good points plus I wouldn't need to pay for movement upgrade

Can you post some pics of your all black on the pro 2?

The new only photo I have of it - and I can't take another at the moment as I'm at work.

Strangely enough, I'm wearing my yellow today!

Hey kernow, that Yellow looks bloody good mate  :inverted:  Can't wait for mine to arrive now, strap shipped today ! Black looks ace with the bracelet  :notworthy:

Thanks buddy. Thet are great watches. I seem to have a soft spot for them as I have one of each colour! I'm sure you'll love yours when it arrives. :)

I've decided to keep the black one. Picked up a gen pro 2 on chrono24 and just put it on this Nato I had lying around. I think the problem I had before was that I do not like rubber straps and it was turning me off to the e watch.

White will be in m2m soon..

Thanks kern. I think so too.

White is up for sale on m2m already. Hope it goes quick.

Well now I'm wishing that you had kept the white and sold the black so I could buy it from you...

This Abyss - in yellow, black or white is always a great choice. Easy to go with the black when it has the best movement, for me the white is equally stunning:)
