Looking at the 4 in 40 is the key to figuring out these FF inserts There are skinny MK3 inserts which were from a fresh printing pad like this As the pads wore down, the printing gets fatter, like this: Then you get the really fatty MK3 at the tail end of the printing pad's life. like this kissing 4: Then you have the 4 from a Mk2 Long 5 which is skinnier than the mk3: Then last but not least, the rare skinny 4 from early 60's ... some call this mk1 Edited May 7, 2015 by pam007 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
