I think he should start with a starter model/movement. But is the quality of the watches always the same? Are just the movements different? But if you want the 2836-2, why not go with the a2836-2 http://www.intime.co/rollie/1513-gmt-master-ii-116710blnr-noob-black-blue-ceramic-bezel-on-ss-bracelet-a2836.html I just don't know if you pay the extra for the swiss 2836-2, that's what you'll actually get. What if you spend the extra $80 and only get an asian 2836-2? I think the cases, etc on these are all the same- just the movement is different.
