Just discovered raw image processing

I just learned how to use lightroom and started to edit my recent vacation pics.. wow!! I guess there's no point having a nice camera if you don't take advantage of all it has to offer, right? Can't wait to start shooting watches in raw!!!

Thanks! I really can't believe what I was missing out on 

 

 

 

Colors look like the good old Fuji Velvia days. What adjustments did you make? I avoid raw since I know I will take some crappy pic and then spend six hours playing around with it.

I was able to bump the saturation of individual colours so it's really done to taste, I like when they pop! It really only takes 10 mins per pic.

I haven't shot JPEG for nearly 10 years; this seems appropriate.
