What really bothers me is that the guy still has an open account with positive feedbacks and anything, I mean he didn't even tell a bogus story how he got the watch but had all those papers etc.. and with the corporate award story he obviously made buyers believe that it was his own watch. Or does he work at a TD?

This is an every day thing on Ebay. And most of the auctions go right through to completion.

Yeah, it's crazy how much money scammers push through Ebay. I wonder how often they're caught selling fakes in place of genuine. Admittedly, you can sometimes find actual genuine watches on Fleabay, however, there's so much crud on there that it's hard to find the diamond in the rough.

I have had a good experience with this eBay store in the UK. Andy is the chap who runs it and he is a 100% guy who loves dealing in Modded genuine Seiko's, so there are some legit people dealing on eBay. But like you say, there are some dodgy ones to. I have reported obvious fakes to eBay and never had any response or thank you.....sellers just keep on selling!

The only place I'd buy a gen Rolex watch online is Bobswatches.com - jomashop.com  or through a brick and mortar seller like Govberg or something on eBay. 

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe through TRF or VRF, but even then....

I've done a couple deals with Bob's and it's been good. eBay scares the crap out of me, AND the people selling vintage parts on their are out of their frickin minds. Asking $3,000 to $5,000 for bracelets and such, $4,000 for shit bezels/inserts... total insanity.
