DW 7750 question

I'm sure I'm not the first to ask this. Anyone know if DW 7750 case fit a v72? Trying to save money by not buying phong.

no,7750 is much bigger than the val72

I think I have read somewhere on the forums that somebody had luck with fitting a v72. I have a spare dw case, I can measure it.

I think you need to tread carefully but fwiw I had an EE case which had an Asian 77XX mvmnt and it was removed and a V72 fitted. I don't know how much work was involved but I was not charged for machining or anything like that. I think it popped straight in!

Yes and no, 

If I remember well, the movement fits inside the DW case and its possible to fix it using tabs, the V72 has 4 screw holes locations for tabs 

But its no possible to screw the thin DW caseback made for the 7750 without rotor, this is due to the V72 chrono start/stop lever height,

Do you by chance know if a st19 will fit?

Bumping this again. So if its not possible to use the dw 7750 caseback, which one would fit?
