Pugwash Posted December 25, 2006 Report Posted December 25, 2006 fyi, the movement in this watch is made from a eta 2893a2 kit, then modified. looks to me like a 7750 could do this? Nope, seconds at three and a 45 minute chrono.
sam_tgg Posted December 25, 2006 Report Posted December 25, 2006 The watch is a beauty. The only thing are the seconds at 3. It must be a 7750 moddified like the Daytonas, with all the problems you have. But still a really nice watch. It is difficult to made reps from watches that have their own movements, or very modiffied ETA movements. A question: it has an external or internal cyclops? I think internal, isn't it?
alligoat Posted December 25, 2006 Report Posted December 25, 2006 An ETA 2893-A2 is a GMT movement with the fourth hand like as in an ExplorerII or GMT Master II. With running seconds at three, I would bet on a Dubois Depraz chrono module added to an ETA base movement of some sort. Of course, it could be a totally in house U. Nardin movement. It is not a 7750.
