Geof3
This one is from Trusty Time. Anyone have experience with this one? Just curious what, if any, gen parts it can take? Seems the most significant tell of these is the slightly wider second hand. Also, the dial font seems a tiny bit wider too. Thinking maybe a gen dial and hands if the case/movement would take them. This one has the Asian 2982, which is the same movement (though highly modified) as gen. Edited September 21, 2015 by Geof3 I can't spell... madmex
A picture tells a thousand words. Any gen part would cost more than your watch. There are a few factories making this watch, and I've no clue which one without any pics.
ryaku
A tell is indeed the off white of the markers and the wording not white/bold as per gen.Date wheel is a big tell, depending of the rep versionCrown is a tell too, most of the time (too thick). Geof3
I don't have it in hand yet. Will in a couple of days. I will post on receipt. Doubt I will spend the $. More, just curious.

jackflash
Well worth upgrading dial and datewheel to gen. I upgraded the minute and hour hands too, as the rep hour hand had flaked a little of the coating.
