HauteHippie
In the case of submariners: nope.
ubiquitous
Depends... Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Typically, as chieftang mentioned, the situation is no, especially when the watch in question is a replica 16610. The more difficult task, however, is usually finding the genuine 295C. tonyp1
Thanks my crystal Is measuring exactly 31MM. I scratched my cyclops while my watch has a sapphire I think the cyclops is just mineral crystal. Edited December 27, 2006 by tonyp1
tonyp1
I just decided to hack it off. This is actually the subject of heated debate in many of the Rolex forums . People are removing them from GMTs and Subs. http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?...ghlight=cyclops Edited December 30, 2006 by tonyp1
Torques
Just wondering on account of the 2.5 X cyclops Uh, no, I just learned that one, the gasket is different, I cracked the edge of mine trying to press it in.
alligoat
A gen Rolex 295C is 29.5mm. A typical CN rep crystal is 30.5mm. But your best bet is to pop the crystal out and measure it to be sure. You can find 30.5mm crystals on ebay (search "rolex crystal") for around $30 plus s+h. But there is no guarantee that the cyclops placement will line up with your date window. Have you tried polishing your cyclops to get the scratch out?
