By-Tor
By-Tor the snow dog! I wonder how many people on here know thats from a Rush song. How is your UPO holding up after almost a year? I ordered one today from Josh. I think they know it by now, it was mentioned in my interview. I just recently traded my UPO, because I never got used to the humongous size. I think the smaller 42mm is much nicer version of the PO's. Too bad the 4th Gen rep isn't as good as the UPO. Most people think the XXL version is nicer, it's a taste thing. The watch always worked perfectly, absolutely no problems. Enjoy, it's a great replica! ta8088
BT's reviews are great. I love my UPO. I thought it was huge when I first got it but the more I wear my bigger reps the more I like them.

Much appreciated.
trueimage
I am wondering what I can do to make my UPO "better" What should I change about it? What movement should I put into it? Get a gen dial? AR run? superlume? PS I got mine about 9 months ago from Josh.
Pugwash
What should I change about it? What movement should I put into it? Get a gen dial? AR run? superlume? Get AR. If you decide you need superlume, get gen hands and dial instead.
Rocksteady
Great review By-Tor! nice to see scandinavia represented! picked me up one of these babies, got 7.5' hands so hope it fits. keep up the good work
confused69u
Having both the Rolex SSD and UPO, the SSD is simply too small and like the reviewer states, it does look like your wearing a ladies watch. I don't think I can go under 45mm now despite having only 6.75 inch arms.

Sloo_Dc2
Where can I get the watch AR coated? With all of the flaws of the different generations, one would think that maybe they would have used an original to build the replica.. My dad has the original orange bezedl/chrono w/rubber (fakes are leather which I don't understand) straps/orange stitching.

The UPO is the 45mm version and these dealers will have it with ETA movements Edited May 13, 2009 by numptyj

skx172
just got a new Gen PO and was able to compare side by side. Here is a quick list. Luminosity- much brighter on the GEN, further the lume material itself is a whiter color and the gen, the UPO looks yellowish when compared to the GEN lume. Crown- unscrews much smoother and when winding the watch feels smooth AR is better on the GEN Weight - Gen seems substantially lighter
ianagarrison
Question: Is the UPO bracelet held together with pushpins?
Ne0n
Question: Is the UPO bracelet held together with pushpins? It's just like the original bracelet, pins and bushings. Take it to a qualified jeweler if you want to size it, i've bent pins trying to get them back in place.

I tried one Jewellers and they said they'd need to send it off to Omega to be resized Time to try another one tomorrow.
Dr.Verylong
You just need a pin pusher tool and a watchman's hammer to put them back in (use the plastic side, not the metal part). This is easily done within minutes.

Maars
Where's the best place to source this watch these days? Precious Time?
plaifender
Where's the best place to source this watch these days? Precious Time? Most dealers have this watch. I bought mine from Angus @ Puretime. Mine even came with an Anti-magnetic cover over the movement.. i've heard lots of people's don't even come with this! Thing to watch out for is the Crown and Tube. Mine is already starting to strip... So the gen crown and tube is a VERY necesary mod I'll be installing new crystal, gen bezel insert and gen bracelet on this over the course of the next year pics: Anti-magnetic cover installed over Swiss ETA movement:
