capre Posted January 10, 2016 Report Share Posted January 10, 2016 Hello,Im a longtime lurker and i have owned/own a few gens, reps, high end frankens and genkens. Funny thing is that my hobby started with reps and it lead me to the gen watches. But nothing beats a good franken in my oppinion. Everyone can save some cash and go buy a gen. But it takes passion and knowledge to pull off a well made franken watch and that is worth more than a simple gen. My interest to this hobby and watches in general has grown to that point that im actually considering quitting my job and start to educate myself through a 3 year long watchmakerschool. Its still just a thought but i have been in contact with the school so lets see where that leads. Anyway i think its time for me to start being more active and contribute to the forum.
