interaktiv Posted January 26, 2016 Report Posted January 26, 2016 Hello, can someone please tell me whether this is a gen ETA 2834-2 movement, or Asian?
flin0310 Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Of course Asian ! 我從使用 Tapatalk 的 SM-N9005 發送
SSTEEL Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 Possibly gen, but the rotor is Asian. 1
RickFlorida Posted February 3, 2016 Report Posted February 3, 2016 Yeah, that rotor finish is rough. So when in doubt, assume asian.
ILoveWatches! Posted December 31, 2016 Report Posted December 31, 2016 Its a tough call because even some of the asain eta movements have the Eta engravings, the best way is to see where the top cap jewels for the balance wheel on top have two notches to remove the jewel and the shock absorbing spring.
blame Posted June 21, 2017 Report Posted June 21, 2017 This is probably actually a legit ETA. The cutouts for the shock protection system has 3 lobes where the asians usually only have 1 lobe. Don't sweat it http://www.rw-forum.com/topic/22-how-to-identify-eta-28242836/ read this
Nexus9 Posted April 28, 2020 Report Posted April 28, 2020 Hey Inter, It's hard to tell with the photo you are showing - we really need a macro shot of the shock absorber (the red jewel above the balance wheel) and the stampings. It looks to me like the "furrows" in the shock mount are not too deep, which indicates Asian, and I can't see the stampings clearly enough to judge by them. But this will help: https://forum.replica-watch.info/forum/swiss-or-clone/60868-eta-2836-2-vs-clone-how-to-tell-swiss-from-asian If you can get the movement magnified, that post should help you decide.
