TT,

I am the Director of Sales for a Nationwide ISP, and I used to work for a regional CLEC that went out of business in 1999 that was headed by one of the most incompetent asshairs I have ever encountered in my career. I know that he took the helm at Clearwire for a while, but whether or not he is still there is unknown to me. The fact that they hired this assclown speaks volumes as to their lack of vision, and inability to execute, but I don't know anything about them first hand. There are a couple of good industry resources, for these things, but I would suggest trying www.broadbandreports.com and do a search for that company's name and see what their reviews look like. I'm assuming you're in FL, so if you're looking for a fixed wireless provider, you might see if airband has coverage in your area. You can check for service here http://www.airband.com/checkforservice.aspx, and please understand, I am not endorsing them, just providing something for you to investigate. I'd love to help you myself, but we provide neither wireless or residential service.

Cheers,

Bryan

yeah, broadbandreports had some pretty sobering [censored] to say about them; this is just one:

http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,155...ilite=clearwire

Another thing I have learned is that broadband customers are always ready to share their bad experiences, so if you're curious as to how a company is perceived by it's customers, try googling "(company name) sucks."

When I do that for my company name, there are zero results, when I do that for clearwire, there are over 10 pages of results, when i do that for airband, there are also no results.

In short, if you have not bought from clearwire, don't, and if you have but are inside your "zero penalty" cancellation period, cancel, or just get ready to be [censored] off for the length of your contract.

@Bryan

Thanks for your research...

It's truly appreciated...

I personally have Cable and am very happy with it...

It's my son who is outside of any Cable & DSL service that I was inquiring for...

We will take a look at Plan B now...
