FlipLockBuckle
Hey friends, Happy New Year to all of you, and a kickin start into the fabulous 2007. Today I received my genuine 295C sapphire crystal, but it seems to be a little bit smaller (diameter) and thinner in comparison to the rep one. I cant check if it's gonna fit right now as i sent in my case to a very nice and helpful member who was willing to help me out with my gen-tube-problem. However, i am very confused now and im wondering if it's gonna fit...what do you think? Do you think that my doubts are justified, or do you think the new gasket will do it? Thank you all, Flip Edited January 2, 2007 by FlipLockBuckle

ubiquitous
295C is a genuine sapphire w/ cyclops for Rolex Submariner, etc
alligoat
You just never know until you try, but on my older CN subs, the crystal diameter is 30.5mm. I haven't messed w/ the CN2006's since the date mag is OK. The 295C is 29.5mm. And it will fit a gen Sub, GMT or Datejust with the sapphire crystal, so all you need is one of those and you're in business!
yellomen
After years and years of copying the Sub... the never got it right. I think it's time they try a 1:1 procedure like used for the Ingenieur

I think it's time they try a 1:1 procedure like used for the Ingenieur I think i will just glue in the genuine gasket. As it has the proper size i think it should be no big deal to assemble the 295c to it then. I think I should take photos of my work Edited January 6, 2007 by FlipLockBuckle
