This is actually a song to DW since these are his cases.... When will someone finally come up with such products at such prices????

Now question for the gang: should the dial be matched to the faded datwheel, or should the datewheel be changed?

Man that case does look amazing! An excellent build. I have two more DW daytonas coming my way, that will make three. Might have to sell one if a decent Monte Carlo comes up.

I have a black dial DW MC and they are f***ing brilliant. Only drawback is the date wheel font doesn't have the gen serif look. It seems like yours does… is it a gen date wheel or a reproduction with the correct serif font? From what I've read gen MC date wheels are next to impossible to find… I'd be hesitant to change out yours, but shoot it is pretty yellow!

Thinking… the lume on the hands is pretty yellow too… I might age the home plates the same color and that could work...

Yes.... Change or no change.... It isn't mine by the way: it belongs to a fellow member who trusted me to assemble it. It is very yellow BUT font is good. I already toned down the lume of the dial, but DW lume is very sealed and tint won't penetrate much.
