Kevster
Hi everyone I need a 3130 movement for my 16000 case and DJ dial. Apparently a Yuki 3135 would fit and how much are they in English pounds as they don't say where they are from. They are about $400. Any help on getting a movement would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Kev
Sogeha
www.yukiwatch.ecwid.com But make sure to read about the need to service the movement and ideally fit some replacement parts. Generally new comers are advised to do a search before posting as most questions asked have been covered comprehensively in the past.
Kevster
Ok thanks for your help. This watch will be for personal use. I have searched the posts and found out about Yuki, I can do a partial service myself and that it should fit my case and dial with any luck. Anyone know where their factory is? Sogeha
I don't think anyone knows, except that it is highly likely to be mainland China and not actually owned by Yuki
Kevster
Thanks for your reply. Sorry to be a pain but I think I am finally getting somewhere. Does anyone know if the currency they use at Yuki is US Dollars, if so the Y3135 movement will be about £280. I think I would rather get one off EBay for £80 and cut slots or holes in it rather than cut the feet off my Rolex dial. I shall post photos if I ever get this thing finished. Sogeha
The Yuki movement is a clone of the Rolex. My understanding is that parts, while finished to a much lower standard than Rolex, are interchangeable. Certainly I have read of several builds without cutting dial feet. alligoat
The 16000 DJ is made for a 3035 movement- not a 3135. You'd do better with a 16200 DJ case. Late model DJ dials will fit either movement- 3035 or 3135.
