The original also had a fold over liner to protect the watch from the sides of the box.

Perfect Mahogany box Steph. Like a gen.

Box made by Steph is the first model of Pre-V box, this is only the second model (with a pin clasp and not the magnet) that is covered by a cloth with foldable flaps and embossed with the OP logo.

1st model mahogany box, magnet, pad/cushion (grey-green)

Second mahogany box, pin clasp, pad/cushion (beige), cloth with foldable flaps and embossed logo

Third burl box from 1996, pin clasp, pad/cushion, with (beige pad) or without (grey pad) cloth with foldable flaps and embossed logo

I am resurrecting this thread as I am looking for a preV Panerai mahogany box that is the correct version for a 5218 / 203A. Does anyone know if @steph_dexter is still active and, if not, is there another source for a box like that?
