Hi guys,

I am looking into purchasing the new PO from JH factory available @ TD`s.

What are your expert opinions on the accuracy/quality of this rep?

Whats about JH/OM Factory?

Does anyone already own one?

Experience?

Andrew recommended it... have a look yourself...

Here is the Omega Original Photo:

Look quite accurate to me. Just the bezel 0-15min lines seams to be a little off.... maybe it is just the picture angle...

Is it possible to interchange the bezel with a gen?

Hopefully you can help me to pull the trigger...

:-)

I am not versed in modern Omegas but will say this one looks good.  I bet very few would spot it as a replica for two reasons:

1...It is very well done and highly detailed.

2...Not many people are familiar with newer Omega watches like they are with Rolex etc.

If the A7750 in your example is Ok from the start, it is a good deal because this is a LOT of watch for the price.  One way to prevent trouble is not use the chronograph function much...stay away from the 'suicide buttons'.  As long as the watch is used only for time and date and not for timing events, it functions as an ordinary automatic date watch with very little wear during everyday use.

Some of the older models had a fixed dial at 3 - as in the minute and hour hand were fixed together - not ideal. However the newer ones seem to function as per gen, or so some TD videos show. Ask your TD which this is. Additionally, once you receive the watch have it serviced by a decent Watchsmith to make sure it'll keep running. Otherwise, buy and enjoy.
