Asian reps have movements made in China, whereas Swiss reps have movements made in ... er, China. Usually, Swiss reps use ETA movements destined for real Swiss watchmakers in the Swatch Group. Movements from Thailand have yet to fail me once, except for a crown glitch on a 111 a couple of months back. Highly recommended for the price. fkhill33 Posted March 31, 2006 Report Share Posted March 31, 2006 I asked a dealer regarding its 'swiss ETA2892' as it was about $100 cheaper than anyone elses and was told that it was an 'asian ETA2892'.
