Depends what you mean by good. It is a workhorse, reliable, cheap to replace not pretty to look at. It does the job

The miyota 8205 caliber works as well as the A2824, but it could suffer from a noisy rotor and also could also have a second hand which does not sweep smoothly or stutters. 

These issues do not affect the timekeeping or power reserve of the movement.

The problems can be rectified through a service, and a serviced miyota movement has been proven to be reliable. Bottomline: Yes it is a good movement and cheap to maintain, but if you intend to keep the watch, get it serviced.
