vaccum Posted January 18, 2007 Report Share Posted January 18, 2007 I received a pam127 to do some mods (relume, cannon pinion, hands, crystal replacement, etc) So I took my caseback opener tool to remove the caseback, then I noticed that it was not flat to the case , something is not right here. So I decided to pry it off with my nails and guess what...it came off easily...I was shoked Then I took a look at the case and found this....no threads at all In order to close the caseback, which is threaded...don't ask me why, you just press it with your thumbs. Dont even think about water proof Here is my fiddy case to show the threads at the case Both cases side by side Are this watches getting better...... I can't tell 100% for sure if it will hold or not, what I know is that you can press the case back with your thumbs without a lot of pressure. flavor flav Posted January 20, 2007 Report Share Posted January 20, 2007 ummmmm........i'd ask the dealer for a new case. but thats just me :black_eye: unbelievable. if it were done like the crystal mounts it should be watertight but threads on the caseback it's obviously a dud!
