hologramet Posted December 6, 2018 Author Report Share Posted December 6, 2018 Posted November 20, 2007 My experience with Frankenjusts is that the 2836-2 fits in the 16013, 16014 and 16030 cases- i.e. the early cases which took a 3035 Rolex movt. The 162xx series cases take the 2824-2. The reason is because of where the stem/crown lines up. So a 2836-2 it is will be.. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It really has an identity in a way the others don't, imo. Im not familiar with the Air King but it looks cool, the bezel is a nice throwback. Keep us updated on the build. mead861 Posted December 13, 2018 Report Share Posted December 13, 2018 I have a 15000 case that takes a 3035 and the eta 2836 is too thick to fit. You need to use a 2824 . I'm 100% sure. I read the same info as posted here and the 2836 will not fit in a rolex 3035 case. The other option is to get a 15200 case and use the yuki 3135 movement. No issues with Dwo and the yuki 3135 will take a gen dail.
