You will need to switch out the datewheel for a D3 datewheel if you are putting it in a daydate. That is, if everything else is a perfect fit. ubiquitous Posted January 24, 2007 Report Share Posted January 24, 2007 With the AS movements, the date usually rotate CCW (and I say usually, as I can only comment on the ones I have seen). I have tried fitting a few into my vintage projects, but they turned out to be more headache than anything... In the end, I have found that a nice slow beat ETA 2846 simply works better, and is easier to physically fit, as it is a 1:1 replacement with the 2836.
