bettyswolloks
Hello all, I've just received a DSSD thats in real nice condition. The things is though, as soon as the crown is unscrewed it goes into the date change position. I can't wind it at all. Even when its screwing down it doesn't start to wind. Any ideas? 0 bettyswolloks
I'm told off the guy I bought it off it was working fine when it went in the post. As far as I'm aware the case back or the stem have never been removed Pal.Sent from my CDY-NX9A using Tapatalk
0 Nanuq
People seem to have different opinions about "working fine". Half the watches I've bought person-to-person have been like this, advertised as "working fine" and you have to monkey with the crown to get it to "grab" before it winds. I can get them to work eventually, or I'll just set the time and screw down the crown and whiz them up a bit by hand and wear them, and they wind themselves. It works but it's a pain. It will be a simple repair, maybe a new stem or touching up the keyless, like Ado said.
0 bettyswolloks
What stem fits this movement? 2836/2824?And the keyless, is it the same as the 2836/24?I thought that and movement with A in front of it was just a decorated movement. I was pleasantly surprised to see the hand move forward when the crown was wound firward, in like the 28xxs.Sent from my CDY-NX9A using Tapatalk
0 SSTEEL
Could be the stem length is too short.Sent from my Nokia 9 using Tapatalk
