Hi all.

I am planning to sell my unmodded Watchmaster 1680 red sub on the board today, but since I bought it used myself just wanted to get confirmation that it really is "the good stuff" before putting it up for sale.

Also if anyone could confirm that there are no differenced between a MBW 1680 and a WM 1680 ? (don't want to do any false advertising  )

It has the "Polex design" engravement between lugs, solid mid links etc.

Here are the pics:

it certainly looks like an MBW/WM ... as far as i know there isn't much difference between mbws / wms they are essentailly the same watch ... which is why they are commonly reffered to as MBW/WM ... the WMs these days seem to be outfitted with rivetted bracelets but they are the same watch from the same factory

look exactly like the MBW I got before taking it into pieces, even got the MBW oyster bracelet

Never bought anything from watchmaster but some say its the same some say not.

Open the case and see if its a 2846 or 2836 inside, some say wm fit 2846 inside

Edit: Why are you selling this? the watch could be something you could work on and treasure for years

Ive kept their name private but this is one of the PMs I received.

and i am located in the USA. upstate NY.

are you in the USA?

i will ship internationally.. but at buyers responsibility.

i have many trades on all the watch boards and on the @bay.

$600 all inclusive. includes...

1. MBW/WM watch, genuine eta2836 movement, rare all white dial not the silly red letter dial that would be foolish to wear, never fooled with or worn, sits in watch box

2. vintage folded and screwed bracelet with all links. approx. $100

3. two (2) genuine Sector travel cases (very thick leather, italian made) approx. $40 each. -included

4. all shipping paid by me, including insurance (USA) and paypal fees covered, not extra.

Hi. Watch is now sold for $350 + shipping costs.

I think $350 is the "normal" price for a used MBW 1680.

Chronomat123 sold his modded one for $390, but that was really too cheap.

Included these mods:

"-genuine Rolex crown and tube installed by watchmaker, cost around $100

-upgraded crystal with better date mag and higher stance, cost $15

-upgraded the bezel insert, cost $35

- lugs re-worked, cost $50 "

And I think "George" is selling them for around $430-$440, but there the problem is to get him to sell one to you.

I decided to sell it because I found out I really prefere bigger or chrono watches. (And PAMs of course :D )
