Dario33 Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 I have it narrowed down to 2 choices: Pam 127 fiddy 45mm Ultimate Omega Planet Ocean PS: I leave tomorrow. (I was hoping to be able to sport Angus' Steelfish, but wasn't released in time)
jkerouac Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Why don't you simply take both, or even a third, one or two for day wear, and one or two for evenings?
Pugwash Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Pam 127 fiddy 45mm Ultimate Omega Planet Ocean The Fiddy is more likely to have problems (exploding glass? Forgetting to wind it?) than the PO. Have you had both tested for water-resistance? Oh, if I were you, I'd take both. Put a dress-strap on El Fidderino and wear it to the captain's table and leave the Pee Oh for casual wear.
hyster Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 You simply have to take both, it would be like choosing between your children. Two fantastic reps, for two different occasions. Enjoy your cruse.
robertk Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 You should take the one that works below 3000 meters! !
superwmnx Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 We are leaving for a cruise in a couple of weeks and I have been trying to decide which watches I'm taking too...
dkcambel Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 (edited) Both - but if only one --- FIDDY!! Edited February 4, 2007 by dkcambel
hambone Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Omega by day and Panerai in the evening......of course! Enjoy your cruise Dario.
b16a2 Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 If I had to take one it would be the PO, it's such a versatile watch.
Chronus Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 We are leaving for a cruise in a couple of weeks and I have been trying to decide which watches I'm taking too... I took an Omega Seamaster GMT as the cruise ship I was on was crossing time zones. Lume was amazing, will have to post up shots of it that i took at the time.
Butterfly Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Took a wonderful Mediterian cruise in Dec. "BECAREFUL OF WHAT YOU KEEP IN THE CABIN SAFE" Someone we met had all the things in the safe stolen! Have a great trip, Butterfly!
Sylar Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Ill be taking my 4th cruise next month and I usually take 3 to 4 but always find myself buying at least 1 watch while in the islands since they offer good prices. The AD there carry wide varieties especially "Diamonds International" which has stores in almost every port on the islands.
