The 40mm Rolex is just right, but the 41mm Submariner is too big?

In my impression, the 37mm Rolex Submariner has never appeared since the black dial in the 19th century. Now, every time I go to an offline store to try it on, the 40mm and 41mm Submariners are always the most. After all, I have to adapt to the general needs of society, which I understand very well.

Before my wrist was accidentally injured, I especially liked to wear a 40mm watch. The grand and calm feeling made me always want to lift the watch to check the time from time to time. However, I found that the 41mm watch was a bit difficult to wear, such as the 124060, but the 40mm one was just right. I don’t know if this is my psychological effect, so I haven’t really bought a 41mm treasure yet.

As mentioned above, my wrist was injured because of sports, and I can’t even wear a 40mm watch. How can a person who wears a watch for a long time suddenly have an empty wrist? But the good news is that I saw someone predict that a new 37mm Rolex will appear in 2025. Although this is just their speculation, i hope it can come true.

I am sorry to hear about your injury, but is the problem with 40mm+ watches due to their size or weight?

If it is a weight issue, why not just replace the metal bracelet on the larger Sub with a NATO, Zulu or rubber strap, any of which should reduce the weight to below that of a braceleted 37mm Sub?

Like Freddy said, diameter is not the best metric here.  I had a genuine 37mm Tudor BB54 and it was AWFULLY unbalanced and heavier than a 14060/16610.  Also, I have had 39mm watches with Lug-to-Lug's in excess of 50mm.  Precious metal like the Blue White Gold Submariner weighs more as well.

That said, a neo-vintage Sub like the 14060 on a hollow 93150 braclet is probably the best option if you can go Gen. --- or find an ARF 16610 and swap to a 93150 with Hollow links...

Otherwise, look into Titanium or Carbon cases.  I just picked up the VSF NTTD v5 (all Ti) Bond Seamaster and is like I am not wearing a watch! Good luck.
