Rock bands? come on they were great but im not sure if rock is the correct term for the POLICE maybe pebbles... :victory:

my favorite

THE POLICE lyrics - "Miss Gradenko"

Don't tell the director I said so

But are you safe Miss Gradenko?

We were at a policy meeting

They were planning new ways of cheating.

I didn't want to rock your boat,

But you sent this dangerous note,

You've been letting your feelings show.

Are you safe Miss Gradenko?

Miss Gradenko are you safe?

Are you safe Miss Gradenko?

Miss Gradenko are you safe?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Nobody but us

Nobody but us.

Is anybody alive in here?

Nobody but us.

Your uniform doesn't seem to fit-

You're much too alive in it.

You've been letting your feelings show.

Are you safe Miss Gradenko?

Miss Gradenko are you safe?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Nobody but us in here

Nobody but us.

Nobody but us in here

Nobody but us.

The Police were my first "real concert". Bow Wow Wow opened for them when they played the Providence Civic Center (can't remember the year...it was so long ago...).

Id love to see them in concert.

FWIW, my first concert was KISS with Eric Carr as drummer. Wendy O and the Plasmatics opened for them. I was young, and a woman with a 2-foot mohawk, bikini panties and electrical tape smashing televisions with a sledge hammer on stage changed my life forever. And set the benchmark for concerts. Rob Zombie is the only one who has remotely come close.

But Police are a great band, and of course Sting is a big part of it. Thank God there's no Sting reps out there.

I saw the Police in the U of H campus ballroom that held 900 people in 1979, Honolulu. Their second album had just come out and they were not super stars, but wow they put on a show.

When their second album came out, they were already superstars. Maybe not in the US, but they were huge in the UK.
