t Posted February 20, 2007 Report Share Posted February 20, 2007 I guess this is one of those "oh well" moments - I also just realized that there might be another explanation for the problem...I suspect that it could also be the hour hand ever so slightly touching the small second hand, since I seem to recall that watch always stopped at about 8:40ish, I will continue to observe and post an update here. The one on my 186 is perfect as it look exactly like the ones in the gen photo you provided. Too bad they went cheap on this feature. My big thought is: can these datewheels and crystals be purchased to fix our old watches! +1!!! Definitely interested in a datewheel and proper crystal with cyclops if anyone knows where these are available. Thanks so much for this review; somehow just stumbled across it.
