Kosta can you tell us a litle more why this in a no go ? Fiddy is only G ? John
V
This movement is only OK for the 217. The fiddy must have the PANERAI PANERAI PANERAI decoration.. and the 111H, 112H etc etc are too small to receive it. As it clearely says: ''This is for the 47 mm case''

My bad...so its only good for the 217. I thought the movts were the same size in the reps, just the spacer rings larger/smaller. Thanks for the info veni

Lollipop
So are there 2 versions of the ETA 6497, one for 44mm and another one for 47mm? :cc_confused: Edited April 4, 2006 by Lollipop
kegra
This movement is only OK for the 217. But 217 is lefty if iam correct, so the officene panerai sould be written upside down. The movement on ebay: Gen 217 so the conclusion is that this movment is not even for 217 so were this could fit (and be like the real deal) ? sure can "fit" in both 217 and 127 but this would be incorrect for those pams. kegra
I am really sorry to busrt your bubbles guys... But there's nothing like a 47mm 6497. They are all the same. I swapped from 44mm case to 47mm case. And let me tell you - i also swapped to a 45mm Radiomir case. They were all the same. Strange huh? Just watch the caseback and you'll see that on 47mm watches you see a tad more of the movement than on 44mm watches... Thats good news oliver.. I like when those bubbles are deflated. Hari Seldon
Does it mean the top five bidders get one? Or does the last guy bid for all five and get all of them at that price per piece as there is a quantity choice when you place the bid? I am sure it makes sense somehow but it is not very intuitive. Logan
Well I got one... yes I have a 177h fetish.. When you bid you get the opportunity to bid for the number you require.. then I guess it just goes back down the list and allocates them to the bidders after the close of the auction. I paid $100 anyway.
V
At that price (100$+30$ postage) 130$ I prefer to buy a whole watch with CN movement from Silix
tonton2000
I think $100 is a good price, especially remembering that when these first came out with the G series engravings they were going for over $250 a pop! Good going logan.
robideaux
what sucks is i probably inflated the auction to 100 by bidding at the last second. i was outbid at 50 bucks and lost my space in the top 5. shittay
