obelisque Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Crashed into a car previous week..... Still upset.
insane Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Thats not good my friend, but hey, its just a car, and its just money. At least you are still in one piece Buy a new watch and let a creditcard cover it for now. I promise, you'll feel a whole lot better.
Dutchy Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Buy a new watch and let a creditcard cover it for now. I promise, you'll feel a whole lot better. Agreed! Sorry about the accident man, but as said, at least you weren't harmed
chubbchubb Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Hey, you're ok... anything that can be replaced with money should never really bother you...
chubbchubb Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 I remember a couple of years ago, my wife totalled our Ford Explorer in a crash. She was preagnant then... I didn't think one second about the car... not when she told me... not weeks after...
Polynomial Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Ughh, now I am getting steel bumppers for my Jeep, the wife is practicing on probationary license...
rek001 Posted March 24, 2007 Report Posted March 24, 2007 Very sorry to hear of your accident, but don't punish yourself.
eunomians Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Hope u are ok. Last October, a car slammed into my car - and totaled it. Both airbags went off, etc... It was frightening to say the very least. I was not really injured, but my car, ohh my car... It's gone, declared a total loss by the insurance company. More than $16k estimated damage! 2 months after the accident, I started to get a little shakey behind the wheel. If you start to experience this, go and see someone who you can talk to (if u catch my drift). Post-traumatic stress kicks in a few months afterwards. Best regards
Logan Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 But the other question is what watch were you wearing at the time and did it survive?? Reminds of those idiot posts over at Timezone where they ask if its ok to clap at the opera while wearing their new Roelx in case the movement gets damaged...
dak244 Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Thats not good my friend, but hey, its just a car, and its just money. Consumerism at it's worst...
richard_uk Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 ^ heh he said what I was thinking ^ I hate credit of any kind, if I want something I wait until I have the money to pay for it.
jkerouac Posted March 25, 2007 Report Posted March 25, 2007 Bad luck on the accident, happy to hear there are no injuries. I believe that a few accidents are almost inevitable in every driver's life, especially in urban areas. If we get through those incidents without injury, then we should truly consider ourselves very fortunate.
