rbj69
I have worked on this watch a few times now, and what we have is the famous milgaus with lightning bolt second hand , what i did to it is aged the dial (markers and dulled the finish a bit) , installed a highly domed edged tropic 16 genuine crystal, installed the almost famous michael young thicker bezel and bezel insert, i refinished the case and drilled lug holes to fit thicker pins and installed a rivet oyster on it to top it off, hope u like it , it was hard to take pics because of the glare off the domed crystal , it is really rounded around the edges sort of like a superdome tropic 39 , hopefull when the owner gets it on monday he can take us some more deserving pictures of it oh yeah i painted the second hand tip as well

rbj69
just about everything was changed out on this watch definitly, just remeber all the ones that rare vintage i usually do r complete changes , we just use the case and maybe a dial here and there but the rest usually r custom made and or whatever i can come up with lol its a time consuming task but as u see well worth it , mostly after all said and done for most of the vintages they can run over a grand just because of the parts the initial watch price that u pay the dealer and my time /labor this is not for the guy that just settles that is for sure lol but if u think about it u r looking at a 20k watch that is soooo close for just above a grand , not a bad savings if u ask me lol parts r killer priced for a rep or genuine but i cant do anything about that u know thanks for your comments it makes me want to impress u guys and raise the standards even more , wowowowowo, whats cooking at rbj's inquiring minds want to know lol
