KB Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Indeed it is serious dollars and beautiful watches too. Ken
trinsic Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 our guy loves chunky watches...no patek or vc dress watches...
tobico Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Very expensive Taste! But great watches! Any modification done on the watches?
CY0811 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 BALLER STATUS...LOL....cant wait for my BB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
dadog13 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 really high class reps...lovely...and the AP ROO is sooo huge!...would like to get one of those with swiss 7750 mvt...but at the momento is out of my $$$ range..
trinsic Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Where have you found the yellow HBB? Precious Time had it...before they closed down the dealer section.
Watchmeister Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Great collection. Not for the faint of heart. Love the Mellow Yellow. The only ceramic HBB with proper "ceramic" engraving on the back.
jfreeman420 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Close to $3k in reps in a short period of time (these are all pretty recent releases). I would venture to guess you have some nice gens as well? Love to see those.
rek001 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Superb collection, only the best. Your screen name sounds familiar, were you around on RWG I?
tobico Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Precious Time had it...before they closed down the dealer section. I also saw puretime wore it when he gave me my watch. Great service from him too.
aaronk_83 Posted April 18, 2007 Author Report Posted April 18, 2007 Umm it was almost 3k, received another watch not in the picture. Yup I was on Rwg 1, but I really don't post that much anymore
supermanx Posted April 18, 2007 Report Posted April 18, 2007 Still less then any one of the gens. Excellent collection, wondered who picked up the mellow yellow. AP ROO is on my list. Love the avitar too, been looking for a nice 911 turbo (966).
aaronk_83 Posted April 19, 2007 Author Report Posted April 19, 2007 (edited) yea that's true, one gen is a hell of a lot more! And for the price of the gen it's kind of crazy.. The AP ROO is a huge watch, hopefully I can pull it off on my smallish wrist Its a 997 C4S with a Gemballa sport pack Edited April 19, 2007 by aaronk_83
CY0811 Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 Did you get the S65?....I think that was you I used to talk to on the old RWG.
Guest Sql_pl Posted April 19, 2007 Report Posted April 19, 2007 Great collection! But I wonder why didn't you go for the MBW OffShore with correct date window? Cheers!
aaronk_83 Posted April 20, 2007 Author Report Posted April 20, 2007 That's a no go on the s65, deciding b/w the cl 65 or the continental gt... the rents decided since us kids dun ride w/ them when they're around to get a GT car. I'm getting the MBW why is it so expensive, that's why i'm selling the ROO
rogerthat Posted May 9, 2007 Report Posted May 9, 2007 Hublot Screwdriver, only source I have heard of is Angus/Pure Time. He will sell you one. Plus he can get and sell extra screws. Most people do not have a problem with the new Asian 7750 on this watch, but it is too new to have any kind of data, even that movement is only a year or year and a half old, so info is very limited. If you want to cover yourself get it serviced first, if not cross your fingers and hope it will last. Main issue is that most watchsmiths can't or won't service it and you can't get parts, personally I think that is why people don;t like it not becuase it is a bad movement, just fear of the unknown. If you can find anyone to service it, maybe The Zigmeister maybe Vacuum it will likely cost a couple of hunderd dollars US, but I am not sure. Cheers, M
