LV Bezel Color

Guys:

I have 3 rep LVs and the bezel colors are all the same. This week, I saw a LV on a VERY wealthy man that I highly doubt would ever wear a rep. The problem is that it seems the watch has a much brighter, or lighter green, almost florescent.

My delima is I trust this is a gen and I have never seen one at an AD. The photos of real VS. rep on the sights don't see, to show a difference in bezel color and it is never discussed as a necessary mod (always the CGs or rehaut)

Can anyone comment if they think the rep bezel is not accurate? I have a Paul and Andrew rep and another. They all have the identical green color (dark green)

relaxman said the gen's insert has a darker green than his rep's. But that's an other rep from King. So don't know how gen's compared to today's reps'.

I can't really comment about the color comparison, but, is it possible that the man's watch was genuine, but the bezel insert had been replaced with an aftermarket insert following a repair?

If you had seen many of the wealthy members wearing watches...you would think that the watches they wear are gens...but you would be wrong...very possible that you have seen a rep...

I was about to ask this very question. I have 2 LV subs on their way to me... an MBW from TTK and a $188 Josh. Has anyone compared the green inserts side by side with a gen?
