Realloth Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Wow Great Watch did you get it from GoReplicas??? Lust Joke'in
By-Tor Posted April 11, 2006 Author Report Posted April 11, 2006 Thanks. @Slay: I really like the watch without pearl. It gives extra "vintage character" with the aged insert & dial.
seagull11 Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 I really like how you did the insert... nice matte finish! I like it too! What technique did you use?
eunomians Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Excellent example. Great photo too. In fact, I always enjoy looking at your pics! Looking at your watch on this monitor makes me think that it might be about that time to purchase one of these lovely watches. I have yet to own a 1680! Crazy since I am a vintage Rolex junkie Best regards, man!
By-Tor Posted April 11, 2006 Author Report Posted April 11, 2006 Palpatine did all mods for me, including the insert & aged tritium look. I don't have skills to duplicate that. You can find the review/pictorial of this watch from my signature. Here's a few articles of Tommy's vintage projects. http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...topic=17395&hl= http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...topic=15937&hl= http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...topic=14880&hl=
