Tom
It's my birthday coming up soon and I want to get my first Rolex rep. I have a large collection of other reps but have never really got into Rolex...until now. I have been dipping into the Rolex forum more and more recently and I can feel the pull starting.... I want something a bit different and would like something that looks like it might have come from 1976 (the year I was born) Can you experts advise me on what is out there for that era. The MBW vintages look fantastic and I would spend top whack for a good one, but they look more like watches from the 1960's I understand (see told you I was new to Rolex) Please help!! jfreeman420
The Double red sea dweller stopped production around 1977. I also believe the steve mcqueen Explorer II fits into that era.
Manticore
Or perhaps the Great White 1665 Sea Dweller production date 1975.
eunomians
The choice is easy: 5513, the perfect watch.
