I've seen a few on eBay saying they had asian 7750's in them. Also, there is the brand Seagull that makes alot of the chinese movements that also makes watches. I see alot with the "lemania" style chronograph from them.

yeah the same "standard" movement that comes with our chronograph reps. i hear the seagull movements are pretty good, are they the makers of the "standard" asian 7750 movements?

Interesting question... I remember seeing quite a few genuine Chineese Chronos with the Veus 175 copy movement, but none with the 7750 copy.

I have read somewhere that the Chineese actually bought a license to produce the Venus 175 copy, so I guess it is legal to use.

However, as the Chineese 7750 is an plain ETA-knockoff ( like the recent 2836-copy) I doubt that they would use it in "regular" watches?
