bertieng Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Is it true that the PAM212 rep doesn't have the real Flyback function? Even with the Swiss ETA movement?
swdivad Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 Is it true that the PAM212 rep doesn't have the real Flyback function? Even with the Swiss ETA movement? Extremely true... the flyback function would need a flyback module, which has it does not.
vdubpower Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 what exactly does fly back mean then, my swiss 7750 212 , the second hand flys back to 0 in counter clockwise position
slay Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 flyback means, if you push the lower button, while the stopwatch is running, it will "fly back" to 12 o'clock and then restart imeadeatly!
vdubpower Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 whats the function of that? is it like a split chrono now if the genuine 212 uses a 7750, then why didnt my swiss 7750 in my 212 have flyback
swdivad Posted April 12, 2006 Report Posted April 12, 2006 The difference is, that without the flyback functionality, you must first stop the chrono (4:00 pusher) before resetting to 0. Flyback is a single lap timer. Rattrapante is a split chrono where you have two chrono hands ala PAM 213. The 7750 does not have the flyback functionality by default, they must install a separate module to gain the functionality.
Chronus Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Is it possible to get one installed yourself (mod?) or is it way too expensive?
