Estaban Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 I've dabbled in exotic straps many times over the past three years. Just got this. Love it, especially on the Arktos. This strap is no less than 5mm thick. Closer to 6mm at the lugs. Awesome pearl pattern. Nearly bulletproof. Killer buckle. Enjoy
sssurfer Posted May 28, 2007 Report Posted May 28, 2007 GREAT! I have three stingray straps (grey like yours, brown, and light blue) and I love them all. Mine are from OfficialTime. Where did you get yours?
Estaban Posted May 28, 2007 Author Report Posted May 28, 2007 I got it from a Risti. It was a custom made strap (thick). I'm guessing it's either a Pam2Pam or KWong. Very nice workmanship. The leather under the ray is super supple.
sssurfer Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 The leather under the ray is super supple. You lucky guy. The only flaw that I can ascribe to my stingray straps is that they are a little too stiff. But I like them at the point that I would wear them even if they were going to cut my wrist out.
Pix Posted May 29, 2007 Report Posted May 29, 2007 Hi, that's good looking. I have always wanted a stingray strap, but found it too "fantasy" on most watches. Wearing it with a black dial is just a perfect combination.
swdivad Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Here's a few shots of my old one... Stingray is blingycool!
dadog13 Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Estaban...that's alovely strap!...i see it was a custom made one....what is the regular thickness of the stingray straps for PAM's?
sssurfer Posted May 30, 2007 Report Posted May 30, 2007 Estaban...that's alovely strap!...i see it was a custom made one....what is the regular thickness of the stingray straps for PAM's? My Official Time stingray straps are about 3mm thick... now I am dying from jealousy on that 5mm thick strap...
hambone Posted May 31, 2007 Report Posted May 31, 2007 Fishy fishy fishy....Nice strap, I have one in blue.
